Bitch I’m Noni

For our latest Artist Feature for BBB we got the chance to visit Noni Cragg’s studio in Sydney’s West before the lock-down went down! 

Noni walks many fine lines with big energy, her art is an effortless execution of sublime artistic expression and politics.

Simultaneously decolonising Euro-cenric notions of portraiture and celebrating her indigenous heritage stylistically. Noni’s work guides you through an electric landscape reminiscent of a young neon Frida Kahlo. 

Noni recently shut it down! At her show held at Backwoods Gallery, and has been featured in the likes of i-D, Vogue, Oyster mag and the ABC to name a few.
